NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME BUREAU (NSS)

National Service Scheme (NSS) Bureau opened in Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha in the year 1992 with an aim to develop the personality of higher secondary level students through community service. The Bureau has been designing and implementing various types of programmes under the supervision of state NSS Cell in the Department of Higher education of Govt. of Odisha & NSS Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India. At present the volunteers strength is 26500.
